Just to let you know that clients and ourselves have been getting telephone calls from people claiming to be HMRC and requesting personal information. HMRC are aware of this problem and have started a password system so that you can verify their identity when they are calling you back. If you are in any doubt about whether you are speaking to HMRC then please do not give them any information.
